Liechty Homes Open Houses Help Fifty Families Get Their Homes By Fall!
Helping customers find time to see all the options
Moving into a newly built home in time for the Fall often means picking a house in the Spring. Our Open House events are one of the most important opportunities for Liechty Homes to show potential customers what’s possible for their families. “You can look at floor plans all day long,” said Luke Domres, Sales Associate at Liechty Homes Minot, “but physically walking through the homes at our open house events gives people a chance to really imagine their family’s future.”
That’s why, in the month of April, every North and South Dakota Liechty Homes location hosted open houses on their sales lots featuring food, giveaways, big discounts, and all the tools a customer needs to start the home buying process. “For our open houses, we bring in the bankers, we invite our sales reps, we provide food, so people can spend their whole day looking at homes,” says Liechty Homes General Manager Tom Erie. “We want to give people everything they need to be able to say yes to a Liechty Home.”
Our factory partners had the answers
The Bismarck open house included factory representatives from both Schult Redwood Falls and BonnaVilla, which gave customers the opportunity to get specifics on warranties and services from those suppliers and see the differences between the products. Domres noted that two of the larger floor plans on the Minot sales lot seemed to draw the most interest during the event: the Legacy 17, which offers the option of either a second living space or the often-requested fourth bedroom, and Schult’s 50th anniversary Landmark, which gives homebuyers the choice between a flexible extra living space or an inset garage.
Financing homes on the spot!
There was also a representative from First Western Bank and Trust onsite to answer questions on financing the purchase of a manufactured or modular home. “The banker was here for people who didn’t have financing lined up, so they could establish a relationship with somebody to work with them throughout the process of buying their home,” says Kevin Blackwood, Office Manager and Sales Associate at Liechty Homes Bismarck. “We had one family that stopped in at our open house who didn’t have financing, and our banker got them approved and we closed a deal on their home that day!”
Start now to move in by Fall
Timeline is a key factor from the first day a customer considers a new home. “Most people have a mental move in date,” said Erie. “They want to be settled in before school starts, or they want to be able to host for the holidays in their new home.” Liechty Homes forecasts approximately three to four months from ordering to receiving a new home, depending on customizations. Erie’s recommendation is: “Let’s get started now.”
Liechty Homes sales associates unanimously stated that their events were a success. “It was the busiest day we’ve had so far this year,” says Liechty Homes Rapid City Office Manager and Sales Associate Trevor Wenbourne. “Any time we can get people who are in the market for a house that maybe hasn’t been inside a manufactured home in a while is a good thing.” Erie agrees: “Building a home for somebody becomes a really meaningful relationship. Open houses introduce people to the Liechty Homes family.” Thanks to the efforts of the sales staff, Liechty Homes expects that approximately 50 more families will have homes set by the Fall.
There is still time to order a home this season, and even those who missed the spring events have an amazing opportunity to save. In celebration of their 50th anniversary, Schult Redwood Falls is offering every customer who purchases any Schult home from any sales center that carries the anniversary floor plan (this includes all Liechty Homes locations) before August 31, 2024, the chance to win $25,000!
